Reward offered in aggravated assault case

HOUSTON Back on September 29, investigators say Eric Fritz got into an argument with his estranged wife at her apartment. That argument escalated when he reportedly grabbed a gun and pointed it at her head. He pulled the trigger, but the gun didn't go off, at which point investigators say he tried to choke her.

The victim was able to escape and run to a neighbor's home and call police.

Fritz has been charged with aggravated assault. He remains on the loose, and is believed to still be in the Houston area.

Fritz is a 38 year old black male. He is 6'2" tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
