Baines was arrested Saturday on a burglary charge and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail Detention Center. The investigation into Baines' death is being conducted by Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Detectives along with Texas Rangers. The Galveston County Medical Examiners Office will conduct an autopsy.

Fort Bend County sheriff's spokeswoman Terriann Carlson says
Emmanuel Earl Baines was found early Sunday morning by a jail
deputy. With CPR in progress, Baines was transported by EMS to Oak Bend Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
