Get a list of things that won't cost you a dime

HOUSTON This 'Free Stuff Friday' is filled with a few Valentine's Day weekend freebies, plus for those who are expecting or just had a baby, a great way to get wired for free to important health information.

UTMB has partnered with a couple of organizations to provide a free mobile information service. It's called "TEXT4BABY." By signing up, women will get free health information while they are expecting, plus tips on how to care for baby during their first year. To sign up, text the message 'baby' or 'bebe' in Spanish to 511411. And for more information, log onto text4baby.org.

If you are looking for somewhere to take the kiddos on President's Day, the Houston Zoo may be the spot. It's free this Monday from 9am until 6pm. Considering that an adult ticket costs $11 and children tickets cost $7, this is a great way for families to save big. The next free day at the zoo is not until Columbus Day in October.

If you love roses and want to learn how to grow them, you'll want to head over to Cornelius Nursery for a free rose clinic. The one-hour session will teach gardeners how to properly care and grow roses. The clinic will be held tomorrow at 10:15am. There are two locations -- 2233 S. Voss and 1200 N. Dairy Ashford.

Love is in the air at Whataburger and they are hoping you'll take advantage of their 'I Love Patty Melt" promotion. So Sunday night, Valentine's Day, from 5pm to 10pm, you get a free patty melt Whatameal with a purchase of a patty melt Whatameal. No coupon needed.
