Police need help finding killer in cold case

HOUSTON Troy Patrick Fontenot, 42, was fatally shot back on April 26 while leaving a club on Chateau Forest near West Little York. Police say Fontenot was walking a female to her vehicle when the pair was approached by two men in a tan car, possibly a Ford Taurus. One of the suspects was armed and demanded money from Fontenot.

Fontenot turned to run when the suspect shot him in the back, killing him.

Witnesses were able to give enough information for a composite sketch of the suspect.
