The man accused of impersonating a cop will not get out of jail anytime soon. Mario Nieto, 45, went before a judge Tuesday morning. He's being held with no bond on charges of impersonating a police officer, theft of a firearm and evading arrest.

Nieto was arrested early Sunday after a brief chase near downtown Houston. He allegedly tried to pull over drivers on the East Freeway and even flashed a badge.

Officials say Nieto may be linked to several robberies in the east Houston area.
