Hart and Lawrence were on different seasons of "Dancing With the Stars." But, they starred together in a movie on ABC Family last November called "My Fake Fiance."
Here's the storyline for the new sitcom: Hart plays a local politician with a family mired in scandal. She winds up taking in her sister's two kids. It's too much for her to handle so Joey Lawrence's character moves in and becomes the family's nanny or "manny."
