Man thrown from car in crash

HOUSTON The accident happened in the 1300 block of Judiway about 5:30am. Police say the victim was driving a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo eastbound on Judiway and failed to stay in his lane. The Monte Carlo left the roadway, drove into a ditch and then went airborne. The vehicle then struck a telephone pole in a private driveway and the victim was ejected from the vehicle.

The male victim, age unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
