Police need help with unsolved murder

HOUSTON Authorities said on Sunday August 23, at around 5:45am several suspects attempted to break into the Exxon/Mobil Station located at 738 Lathrop. The suspects broke the outside plate glass window and tried to retrieve the bill payment machine. During the burglary, several gunshots were fired. Hutchins was shot on the right side of his chest and died at the scene.

After an extensive investigation by the Houston Police Department's homicide division, it was determined that the shots were fired from across the street. Shell casings were found in front of the Da Spot Tattoo Parlor that is directly across the street from the Exxon/Mobil Station. At the time of the burglary and shooting, several men were outside the tattoo parlor. They left the scene after the shots were fired.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the ID, arrest and/or charging of the any of the suspects in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
