The victim, 43, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors stated he was brain dead, but have not pronounced the man dead. His identity is being withheld at this time.
The suspect ran away and remains on the loose.
Man shot outside grocery store in NE Houston
HOUSTON
It happened last night at Danny's Food Store on Collingsworth near Russell. Witnesses say a man walked up to a group of people and fired several shots at them. One man was hit in the head by a bullet.
