Two die after being found shot along TX road
RECKLAW, TX
Sheriff Danny Pirtle says two suspects remained at large
Tuesday.
Pirtle identified the two slain men as 29-year-old Rigoberto
Tovar Pina and 27-year-old Steve Abran Parra, both of Center. The
victims were discovered Monday afternoon along a rural road near
the town of Reklaw.
Pirtle says one of the victims was able to describe, to a
witness, the two suspects before he died. The sheriff says both
fugitives were last seen in Pina's 1996 green Cadillac. The
sheriff's department did not say which victim offered the
description before dying.
A motive for the shootings is sought.
Reklaw is about 140 miles southeast of Dallas.
