The victim, who was fatally injured, was taken by ambulance to Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. The name, age and gender of the victim have not been released. Plant operations were not affected by the incident.
Worker killed in fall at refinery
HOUSTON
According to spokesperson Erin Wood, the worker was in the northeast corner of the plant at about 8:30am when he apparently fell. It is an area of the plant where there are different structures 80 to 100 feet tall, but it wasn't a working area of the plant.
