The driver was arrested at the scene. The woman turned up at a hospital a few hours later claiming she accidentally shot herself. Both suspects were treated for minor injuries and charged with aggravated assault.
Suspect found at hospital after pulling gun on deputy
HOUSTON
The deputies approached a suspicious vehicle at the Wynnewood apartments on Wortham near FM 1960 early Saturday morning.
They say a female passenger pulled out a gun just as the male driver started driving toward the deputies.
The deputies opened fire, and the man and woman jumped out of the car.
