The shooting occurred near Lee's Lounge at 2716 Canfield. There are a number of possible witnesses at or outside the club at the time of the shooting. Police are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
Club patrons may have witnessed murder
HOUSTON
Police say someone fired several shots into the car as it traveled north in the 2700 block of Canfield at about 1:15am. The passenger in the car, Michelle A. Allen, 24, was struck several times. Police say Allen's boyfriend was behind the wheel. He drove a few blocks to his house to call for an ambulance, but Allen died in the car at that location.
