Lake Jackson bank drive through window targeted by explosive device

LAKE JACKSON, TX According to Mike Golden, Senior Vice President of First National Bank, somebody placed an explosive device on the glass of the drive through at the First National Bank in Lake Jackson around 1am. Golden said the FBI special agent told him it appeared to be more horseplay than terror related or an attempt to rob the bank.

Nobody was in the branch at the time when the explosive shattered the window. It was discovered by a bank patron who drove by around 2:30am.

The window is now covered and waiting to be replaced and business is still being conducted in the bank using their second drive through window and the lobby.

The FBI is investigating.
