Methodist Hospital security guard stabbed in ER

HOUSTON Methodist Hospital says police are investigating. We're told the guard was stabbed Friday night in the emergency room and one person was detained by hospital employees until police got there. The suspect is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is in Harris County Jail.

A hospital spokesperson says the guard is still in good condition.
