Moody Gardens hosts fruitcake launch in Galveston

GALVESTON, TX Moody Gardens is hosting a fruitcake launch at 2pm Saturday afternoon. It's a chance for people to have a little fun with all those unwanted fruitcakes they collected over the holiday season. To enter, just bring a non-perishable food item or a dollar donation for the food drive.

You can also drop off your Christmas tree to get recycled. It all happens in the Moody Gardens west parking lot.
