Pop diva Gloria Trevi has married a lawyer in a cathedral ceremony in her northern Mexican hometown. Trevi and attorney Armando Gomez exchanged vows Thursday in the Monterrey cathedral, which was decked with blue and white flowers and filled with other Mexican stars.

Journalists watched the ceremony live from the nearby modern art museum, where the reception was to be held.

The smiling, tearful bride wore a white silk gown and a veil held in place by a crown.
