Officer Glenndra Smith said bail had not yet been set for 45-year-old Gerald Lane Bourque of Big Sandy. No attorney was listed for Bourque, who was arrested Thursday after 25-year-old Victoria Alison Miles was run down.
Police say Miles came out of a bank following a withdrawal and was struck while walking to the gas station where she worked.
Officer Don Martin says two men grabbed some of her cash that had scattered. Witnesses gave police a description of the fleeing vehicle, which was stopped near Whitehouse and Bourque was arrested.
