Feds bust Texas drug traffickers

LUBBOCK, TX The accused are among 10 suspects named in two indictments unsealed Tuesday. One defendant is in state custody. Two remain fugitives.

U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas says in a statement all the suspects were charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine and at least 500 grams of cocaine.

Some had various drug and firearm charges.

Authorities say they seized cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, firearms, and an unspecified amount of cash. The multi-agency investigation included local, state and federal agencies.
