There's a search for a pair of bank robbers in north Houston. The FBI has responded to two bank robberies today. All the suspects are still on the loose. The most recent robbery happened at the Wachovia bank off the North Freeway and West Road. There's also been police activity at a nearby apartment complex.

The Wachovia bank is located in a strip center not far from the Mission Falls apartment complex off of West Road. Sheriff's deputies have been on the scene at the apartment complex for hours following the bank robbery. A Dodge Durango believed to be the suspects' getaway vehicle is surrounded by crime scene tape at the complex. The vehicle has not been reported stolen.

K-9 units, including a specialized tracking dog, have been brought to the scene to aid in the search for two male suspects. So far, nothing has been found.

The two armed men entered the bank, showing weapons and forcing people to the ground. Both men were wearing baseball caps and scarves around their faces. They got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Just yesterday two men in masks robbed a Wells Fargo bank in northwest Houston. One of the robbers held a gun to the bank manager's head while the other suspect held customers at gunpoint in the lobby. The robbers got away.
