Via Colori: A Street Painting Festival is going on this weekend at Sam Houston Park in downtown. Guests can get up close and personal with the artists while they are drawing. More than 200 artists will start their designs today and finish by tomorrow. Then, it's all washed away. The festival also includes live music, food and a scavenger hunt.

Admission is free. Because of the rain, the start time has been delayed until noon today and will run until 6pm. It will be open again tomorrow from 10am to 5pm. [Via Colori website] Benefits go to the Center for Hearing and Speech.
