The 21st annual Ice Spectacular at the Galleria Ice Center will kick off the holiday season Saturday at 6pm. Sustainable Living in Houston, a nonprofit environmental group, is hosting their second annual Drop and Swap event Saturday. From 8am-12pm, people can simply drop off what you don't want or need -- clothes, electronics, other useable household items -- which will then be available for "shopping" from 4-7pm. People will be able to take home anything they want or need for free.
