Two men rob 2 banks in 1 day

HOUSTON During the first robbery on Nov. 10 -- around 2:40pm -- an African-American man entered the location on Eldridge Parkway, using a note to demand money from the teller, FBI agents said. After reading that the man had a pistol, the agents said the teller handed over some cash before the man fled the scene in an older-model, white Dodge Durango SUV.

Witnesses describe Eldridge Parkway robber as 20-25 years old, 5'06"-5'07" tall with thin build and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black tee shirt with red lettering, and black pants.

Later that afternoon, an older African-American man used a Tech Nine pistol to rob the Chase bank on Hillcroft street. He demanded money from the teller, who complied, and then fled the bank, agents said. Investigators do not know if he fled on foot or by car.

Witnesses describe him as 45-50 years old, 6'04"to 6'05" tall and about 230 pounds. He has a stocky build and was last seen wearing a khaki hat, khaki shirt, jeans and white framed sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of both of these robbers, or any felony suspect. To report a tip, call 713-222-TIPS (8477).
