Suspect wanted in triple killing

HOUSTON Houston police homicide investigators are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of three men found in 11400 block of Sandhurst about 9 p.m. on October 24.

Three men were found shot to death in the 11400 block of Sandhurst around 9pm on October 24. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and found a white Dodge pickup truck on the side of the street. Two males were found sitting inside the vehicle with gunshot wounds and a third male was found outside the pickup, also with a gunshot wound.

The wanted suspect, identified as David Tramell McFarland, 20, is charged with capital murder. A second suspect, Johnathan Ross Nickerson, 18, is in custody on the same charge.

Police say investigation led to the identity of McFarland as the shooter and Nickerson as the other suspect in this case. Nickerson was arrested on October 26. Investigators determined the motive in the shooting was robbery.

The victims were identified as Narciso Briagas, 26, Miguel Angel Morales, 30, and Roman Gabriel Barragan, 16. All three, who lived in Houston, were pronounced dead at the scene.
