A man is now in custody wanted for attacking a woman. He was found sitting outside an elementary school. Investigators say he was drunk and high on drugs.Investigators say the man told family members he was going out to find a woman to have sex with. He was later caught outside Tijerina Elementary School in southeast Houston.

Precinct 6 deputies found Luis Quintanilla, 39, sitting in his car about a block away from Tijerina Elementary School. They say while they don't know what his intent was, he appeared to be extremely intoxicated and high on drugs.

Quintanilla was arrested and has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and simple assault. A charge of DWI is reportedly pending.

As authorities were walking Quintanilla out of Precinct 6 headquarters, he began shouting and cursing at our Eyewitness News photographer. He was extremely belligerent.

Deputies say the 39-year-old reportedly told his son he wanted to find a female and have sex with her.

Quintanilla is accused of trying to grab a woman at a southeast Houston apartment complex. She managed to get away.

Deputies caught Quintanilla's 18-year-old son Alexander at the apartment complex. They say he was breaking into vehicles.

Precinct 6 authorities credit the apartment manager, who says she saw what she thought was an attempted abduction. She then notified authorities.

"In my opinion, we prevented someone from being seriously injured and possibly one of our kids," explained Harris County Precinct 6 Constable Victor Trevino. "I just want to tell the public how important it is, that there's no way that we in law enforcement can do it alone."

Deputies began searching for Quintanilla after they arrested his son. His son, authorities say, identified his father as the suspect they were looking for. They found him about a block away from Tijerina Elementary School, sitting in his car. As it turns out, Quintanilla also has an outstanding warrant for felony child abuse out of Florida. Both father and son remain behind bars at the Harris County Jail.
