Reward being offered in violent home invasion

October 27, 2009 4:10:15 PM PDT
We have an update on a home invasion in Tomball that we told you about earlier this month. Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward to find three people who beat and robbed an elderly couple there on October 12. The robbers got away with money and jewelry, including a 2003 Trinity University national soccer championship ring. The attack sent both victims to the hospital and their daughter says their recovery has been slow.

"I look at them and I'm just so happy that they're alive," she said. "But if these people aren't caught, don't know what they might do next to someone else."

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call 713-222-TIPS or submit tips online or via text message.
