Police: Woman steals mail from porch

Sugar Land police are looking for a woman who took two FedEx packages from a house in the 400 block of Baybridge.According to Sugar Land police, the deliveries were made on Friday, October 16 at 10:50am and 1pm, and a woman was later seen on the homeowner's video surveillance equipment parking in the driving, walking to the porch and taking the boxes.

The woman appears to be Asian, in her mid 20s to 30s, with short brown hair. She was driving a charcoal gray newer model Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).

As the holiday season approaches, residents are reminded of the following crime prevention measures:

  • If possible, have a neighbor pick up packages left outside.
  • Have an alternate delivery address for packages when away from home.
