Some Houston grocery stores are promising lower prices for shoppers.Randalls has announced a price reduction program throughout its 36 Houston area stores. Prices will drop on a variety of product categories throughout the store.

"Randalls is committed to meeting the needs of our customers and we want to provide the best value possible, especially during these challenging economic times," said Tom Schwilke, Safeway Inc. Randalls President.

Shoppers can see the lowered prices through redesigned yellow shelf tags showing the old price crossed out and the new everyday low price. The new yellow tags also display the Randalls Remarkable Card price.
