Luby's closes 25 stores
HOUSTON In a Friday announcement, the Houston-based restaurant chain said that the closures are to save the company money.
Six of the 25 stores are already closed. The remaining 19 will be shut down in the next two weeks.
Luby's has locations in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Officials said they are monitoring another five to 10 restaurants that could close in the next year. The company will sell the closed properties for cash.
