October 11, 2009 6:19:53 AM PDT
The reward is about to go up for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a murder in north Harris County. The family of Marcus Washington, 34, plan to announce today a $20,000 reward. Washington was found shot to death inside his apartment on July 3. Neighbors reported hearing what sounded like an argument earlier in the day and police say the apartment appeared to have been ransacked by someone.

Washington's family plans to hold a vigil today and ask for help in solving the case.
