Galveston ISD seeks parents' input

October 7, 2009 3:55:52 AM PDT
Galveston's school district is asking for parents' input on the future of its campuses. The district lost more than 1,000 students after Hurricane Ike. The remaining 6,300 students are not enough to fill all the campuses. Tonight, trustees will host a meeting to talk about what to do next school year, including whether or not to reopen two flooded schools.

The special meeting is at 6:30pm at Galveston ISD's administration building on Avenue T.
