Man shot while doing yard work

Police in northeast Houston are investigating a deadly drive-by shooting. It happened around 7pm Tuesday. Police say the victim was doing yard work at a business in the 7000 block of Corpus Christi when he was shot by an unknown male suspect driving in what is believed to be a 2006 silver or gray four-door sedan.

The victim, 30, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years of age, with medium length black hair.
