Former Yale lab tech appears in court

NEW HAVEN, CT Twenty-four-year-old Raymond Clark III appeared in an orange jumpsuit Tuesday in New Haven Superior Court. He's accused of strangling 24-year-old Annie Le of Placerville, Calif. No plea has been entered yet, but his lawyers say he will plead not guilty.

The judge set the tentative hearing date for Oct. 20. The probable cause hearing would allow both sides to introduce evidence and call witnesses.

Le was a pharmacology graduate student who vanished Sept. 8 from a Yale medical lab building. Her body was found in the building five days later, on what was supposed to be her wedding day.
