Several students at King's Manor Elementary in New Caney came forward to campus police and said another student had shown them a gun while in the classroom Wednesday. On Thursday, district police confiscated that revolver from the student's guardian off campus.

The 10-year-old girl accused of bringing the weapon to school has since been expelled.

The school district actually had a presentation on gun safety planned for tomorrow. It was to be for Pre-K through second graders, but they've now expanded that to include third through fifth graders.
