Jail escapee may be in Houston

HOUSTON Crime Stoppers of Houston is asking for the public's assistance in locating Nuana Antonio Fuentes-Sanchez, an escaped inmate from Burnet County.

Fuentes-Sanchez was reported missing by the staff at the Southwestern Correctional Jail in Burnet County around 12:30am on Monday, August 31. He was being held on a $200,000 bond for an aggravated robbery charge related to a home invasion. A new warrant has been issued for his arrest on the escape charge.

Fuentes-Sanchez is 24 years old. He is 5'8" tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has short cropped or shaved black hair and at the time of the escape, he had a goatee. There is a possibility he could be in the Houston area.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is working with agencies around the state to help capture this dangerous fugitive. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the capture of Nuana Antonio Fuentes-Sanchez. All tipsters remain anonymous.
