According to witnesses, Woodall parked her vehicle in a parking lot at 10300 East Freeway, crossed the service road and climbed up the embankment to the freeway. Police say after Woodall was on the shoulder of the freeway, she lunged out in front of an oncoming silver Dodge Magnum and was struck by the vehicle.
The investigation is continuing.
Eastbound lanes were shutdown for almost three hours as police investigated.
