Big rig wreck causes delays on Eastex Freeway

HOUSTON It happened before 5:30am on the northbound lanes of Eastex Freeway near the North Loop. The wreck caused major traffic congestion for hours.

It took crews several hours to remove the spilled fuel and the lost lumber.

There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
