New rate on toll roads effective today

HOUSTON Tolls have increased by five cents on the Sam Houston, Westpark, and Hardy toll roads. The toll is now $1.30.

The Harris County Toll Road Authority says the rate hike is needed to keep up with inflation and to pay for new construction.
