Pedestrian killed by hit and run driver

HOUSTON Police believe the victim was trying to walk across the freeway at Little York, just after 10pm. The victim was carrying a bicycle when an SUV hit him.

A police officer spotted two men stopped on the feeder road nearby not long after the accident. The men were examining damage to the SUV, but attempted to flee when they saw the officer. Both men were detained.
