Brant Kotch, Chevron Houston Marathon Race Director

An avid runner since 1980, Brant ran the Houston Marathon every year from 1986-1992. After the birth of his first child in 1992, Brant began volunteering and was invited to join the Board of Directors in 1996. He went on to become the Course Director one year later and Race Director in 2002.

Professionally, Brant is a Shareholder at Crain, Caton & James, P.C. with an emphasis on transactional law. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1978 and received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law School in 1981.

Brant has been married to his wife Linda for 22 years and they have two children: Devon, 17 years old, and Hayden, 12 years old. Brant enjoys running/track & field, bicycling, photography, music and hiking.
