Teen targeted in abduction attempt

Parents in Montgomery County are warned to be on alert as authorities are checking out a report of a possible attempted abduction.The attack reportedly happened around 3pm Monday. A 15-year-old girl told Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies that as she was walking near the intersection of Heather Lane and Saddle Rock Lane in east Montgomery County on her way to a friend's home, a black Toyota or Nissan pickup truck stopped next to her and the driver got out of the vehicle, grabbed her by the waist and put her in the vehicle and started driving.

The girl told deputies that the suspect drove a short distance and pushed her out of the vehicle after she told him that her father was a police officer. The victim was not injured.

The girl told deputies that the suspect was approximately 18 to 19 years old, 5'7" and 140 pounds. She described her attacker as wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and brown western boots.

The victim did not recognize her attacker and was not able to obtain a license plate of the truck.
