Man shot during alleged fight at in-law's home

ROSHARON, TX According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Department, Roosevelt Williams, 64, went to the home of his father-in-law on Linda Drive in Rosharon around 9:30am Tuesday. Authorities say a verbal altercation ensued, and the father-in-law and his 80-year-old wife both demanded that Williams leave their home. Williams refused to leave and was allegedly shot by his father-in-law.

Williams was transported to Sugar Land Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made at this time. Fort Bend detectives continue to investigate this fatal shooting and will refer this case to a grand jury.
