Stanford has been returned to the jail infirmary in Conroe. The 59-year-old financier has denied allegations in a 21-count federal indictment that accuses him of orchestrating a $7 billion fraud. He underwent medical tests after missing a court date last week because of a high pulse rate.
Conroe is 40 miles north of Houston.
