Arrest warrant issued for former DA employee

HOUSTON The DA's office says former administrative assistant Eloisa Mireles faces a charge of theft by a public servant over a missing $1,000. Investigators accuse Mireles of depositing into her personal account a $1,000 money order from a person on probation trying to pay restitution to a crime victim.

Authorities have not yet arrested Mireles.
