Emails overload House website

WASHINGTON Capitol Hill technical support issued a warning Thursday to House lawmakers that the website may be slow or unresponsive because of the large volume of email being sent to members.

The spike in email traffic comes amid boisterous town hall meetings across the country debating President Barack Obama's plan to overhaul the nation's health care system.

A spokesman for the chief administrative officer at the Capitol was not immediately available to comment.
