Take a free ride in Baytown

BAYTOWN, TX It's in celebration of the bus service's first anniversary. Fares are usually one dollar for adults and fifty cents for children, the elderly and disabled. The service is the result of collaboration among Harris County Precinct 2, Harris County Transit, Baytown and Lee college.

Baytown's local bus service is free today through Friday. Ridership averages about 100 people per day.
