Motorcyclist eludes police during chase

HOUSTON Investigators say that overnight, an officer spotted a motorcycle rider he thought looked suspicious near the North Freeway and Gulfbank. The officer followed him.

That rider noticed and sped off. Once the biker reached the Hardy Toll Road overpass, he dropped the bike and ran away.

Police say the motorcycle was stolen from Austin.
