Man charged in shooting death of wife

HOUSTON Harris County Sheriff's deputies were called to the shooting scene in the 16,600 block of Millridge Lane around 3am. When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old Hispanic female deceased after being shot multiple times.

According to investigators, the female victim had been living with relatives after separating from her husband, identified as Raymond Leal, 37. Deputies say on Sunday morning, Leal showed up at the relatives' home unannounced and shot the victim several times.

Leal was taken into custody at the scene.
