A popular Galveston park could soon be named after a snack food. As a part of hurricane recovery program, Frito-Lay says it will donate $1 million to fix up the park. The company will also make donations from sales of bags of Sun Chips bought at Kroger stores. The park is home to the statue commemorating the 1900 hurricane.

The Galveston County Department of Parks is asking for people to send in their comments about renaming the park. If you want your voice heard, log onto their website and tell them.
