Robbery suspect skipped out on court

Authorities want the public's help to find a man they say held up a store clerk at gun point.Officials say on October 2, 2008, Joshua Mitchell and another suspect entered the Stop and Shop Store on Tidwell. Mitchell allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk and threatened him. He then jumped over the counter and grabbed the money from the cash register, police say. Mitchell was located by the police and taken back to the store and positively identified as one of the suspects.

On October 3, 2008 charges of aggravated robbery were filed on Mitchell. He posted bond and was released from jail on October 31, 2008. He was scheduled to go back to court on April 20, 2009 but failed to appear that day.

Mitchell is a 33-year-old white male. He is 5'7" tall and weighs 168 pounds. He has a fair complexion with black hair and brown eyes. He has been known to have a goatee. Mitchell is still believed to be in the Houston area.
